Gaffney's Jewelry Store

Jeff Shipley started working in the jewelry business part time in 1977 after school. Jeff started his career in a wholesale manufacturing company on the bottom level sanding and polishing hundreds of rings that had just been made and set with stones.

After working on many rings, Jeff worked his way up to stone setter. In 1980, Jeff attended jewelry repair classes at Jewelmont, located in St Paul, Minnesota. After finishing his classes, Jeff came back home and worked for a retail jeweler for about four years before heading out on his own. Jeff and his wife opened their first retail store in September, 2009.
